lyrics

8-GHOSTIES=6 :20

As a child I heard the stories of
A stranger in the room
He would scare us all by making eery sounds
Of bells and noise of doom

Help me, so they can’t find me
I don’t know what they’re scaring for
Their wounded souls can’t take no more of this

The ghosts of all the souls
Of all the women and children
And men who’ve made it big
And now have all been forgoten
Still live within us all, and give us insperation
To try to change the world
To make it a better place to live in

As a child I heard the stories of
A stranger in the room
But this one was nice and tried to help us feel
Secure, relaxed and cool

Help me so I can understand
The reason of their presence here
Is it good or bad and should I fear that noise

So one day I finally realised
What ghosts were all about
Not realy there but present in our minds
Enough to make you shout

Tell me the story of your life
So I can know just who you are
Your soul will rest in peace if I know how
